1. Rental Eligibility
To rent a trailer, renter must:
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Possess a valid driver’s license
- Provide valid auto insurance that covers towing a trailer
- Have a valid payment method on file
Seattle Trailer Rentals reserves the right to refuse service at its discretion if towing setup, documentation, or safety concerns arise.

2. Reservations & Payments
2.1 Security Deposit
A refundable security deposit may be required at the time of booking. Deposits are returned after inspection once the trailer and included equipment are returned in the same condition as provided.
Seattle Trailer Rentals reserves the right to deduct charges for:
- Damage
- Missing equipment
- Excessive cleaning
- Unauthorized use
- Late return fees
- Policy violations
2.2 Payment Terms
Rental payment is due prior to pickup. We accept major credit and debit cards.
2.3 Cancellations & Refunds
Reservations canceled 24 hours or more before pickup qualify for a full refund.
Reservations canceled within 24 hours of pickup may be subject to a one-day rental fee.
No refunds will be issued for no-shows or unused rental time.

3. Rental Use & Responsibility
3.1 Proper Use
Renter agrees to operate and use the trailer safely, lawfully, and within its intended purpose and load capacity.
Trailers may not be used for:
- Off-road use
- Racing or motorsports
- Illegal activity
- Overloading beyond rated capacity
- Unsafe towing conditions
3.2 Tow Vehicle Responsibility
Renter is responsible for ensuring their tow vehicle is properly equipped, including:
- Proper hitch size and rating
- Electrical connection
- Brake controller (when applicable)
- Adequate towing capacity
Seattle Trailer Rentals may assist with guidance but renter assumes full responsibility for safe towing.
3.3 Damage, Theft & Loss
Renter assumes responsibility for any damage, theft, misuse, loss, or vandalism occurring during the rental period, including damage to included accessories and equipment

3.4 Equipment Included
Many rentals include accessories such as:
- Straps
- Locks
- Dollies
- Winches
- Chains & binders
- Tool kits
- Hitch accessories
Renter agrees to return all included equipment in good working condition. Missing or damaged items may result in additional charges.

4. Insurance & Liability
4.1 Insurance
Renter understands that the rented trailer is generally covered under the renter’s vehicle insurance policy while attached to the tow vehicle.
Optional supplemental trailer coverage may be available for an additional daily fee.
### 4.2 Indemnification
Renter agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Seattle Trailer Rentals, LLC from any claims, damages, injuries, legal actions, towing incidents, property damage, or losses arising from use of rented equipment.
### 4.3 Accidents & Damage Reporting
In the event of an accident, breakdown, or damage:
Renter must:
- Notify Seattle Trailer Rentals immediately
- Provide photos of all damage
- Provide a written explanation if requested
- Cooperate with insurance or claim processes
Failure to report damage may result in additional charges.

5. Travel Restrictions
5.1 Out-of-State & Cross-Border Travel
Travel outside Washington State or across international borders must be disclosed in advance.
Unauthorized cross-border or undisclosed travel may result in additional charges, loss of deposit, cancellation of rental privileges, or termination of the rental agreement.

6. Late Returns
6.1 Return Time
Trailers must be returned at the agreed date, time, and location.
Rentals not returned by the scheduled return time may automatically be extended and charged at the applicable daily rental rate.
Additional fees may apply if a late return impacts another customer reservation.
### 6.2 Early Returns
No refunds are issued for early returns unless prearranged and approved in writing.

7. Roadside Issues & Service Calls
Renter is responsible for roadside incidents including:
- Flat tires
- Tow vehicle issues
- Hitch problems
- Dead vehicle batteries
- Towing service needs
Seattle Trailer Rentals may assist when available but is not obligated to provide roadside service.
If on-site assistance is requested and available, service fees may apply.

8. GPS & Asset Protection
For theft prevention, security, and operational purposes, trailers may utilize GPS tracking or location monitoring technology.
By renting from Seattle Trailer Rentals, renter consents to this monitoring.

9. SMS & Communication Policy
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive text messages and email communications regarding:
- Reservations
- Pickup instructions
- Key box access codes
- Rental updates
- Support communication
Message frequency varies.
Message and data rates may apply.

Consent is not required to complete a rental transaction.

10. Limitation of Liability
Seattle Trailer Rentals shall not be liable for:
- Vehicle damage
- Towing-related damage
- Delays
- Missed appointments
- Loss of business income
- Cargo damage
- Mechanical failures of renter’s tow vehicle
- Consequential or incidental damages
Renter accepts all responsibility associated with towing and trailer operation.

11. Termination of Rental Agreement
Seattle Trailer Rentals reserves the right to refuse, suspend, terminate, or cancel a rental at any time if:
- Unsafe towing conditions are present
